07How long should the recordings be kept?

Insurers usually ask for thirty days. Longer needs more disks in the recorder.

If yes, a battery goes into the recorder and the console logs the switch.

A night test on the recorder plus a planned visit a year, or just the warranty.

Why is the price only approximate?

Cable length, wall material and where the recorders can stand change the work. The engineer sees all of it on the visit and fixes the price in writing before anything is bought.

Is the site visit really free?

Yes. The engineer walks the site, draws a coverage plan and leaves you a fixed quote. You owe nothing if you decide not to go ahead.

How long does installation take?

A house takes one or two days. A warehouse or a yard takes one to three weeks, depending on how many zones and cable runs there are.

Can I keep my existing cameras?

Often yes. If they are standard IP cameras, we connect them to the new recorder and check the picture before we promise anything.

Do I need internet on site?

No. Recording and alarms work locally. The internet is only needed for phone alerts and to see the site from outside.

What if something breaks?

The system tells us first. Most faults are fixed remotely. The rest are covered by the warranty for the first year, then by a care plan if you choose one.
