The task
The owners travel a lot. The old system sent dozens of motion alerts a night, so they had stopped reading them. They wanted fewer messages and ones they could trust.
What we built
Fourteen cameras around the house, terrace and driveway, one outdoor recorder with battery backup and a console that groups events by place. Motion from trees and headlights is filtered before it becomes an alert.
The result
The family gets two or three messages a week, each with the place name and a frame. When the gate is opened at night, they know within seconds and can see who it is.
We used to get forty messages a night and read none of them. Now we get two a week and read every one.
